What are the naturist beaches like here, are any of them frequented by swingers and what's the weather like mid October.

Côte d'Azur & Great Yarmouth

Just along from Hyères airport, one of the beaches - Les Salins - is naturist, probably too close to the “textile” beaches for any swinging activity. THE naturist beach is Le Layet, between Cavalière and Le Lavandou; past the rocks at one end of the beach are spots discreet enough for those who wish.

We ourselves live near Le Lavandou, often go to Hyères for the Saturday market, if you need any tips for restaurants etc. don’t hesitate to p.m. But what the weather will be like in October, who can tell? If you’re there on Sunday 14th, you absolutely MUST go to the horse racing at Hyères Hippodrome. Five euro entrance, huge free parking, a great day out (they make their millions from the tv coverage and all the nation-wide betting in the cafés and tabacs), you might even win a few bob! Whatever you do, have fun xx
