Hi all,

We have been looking to try visit Cap for what would be our first experience in August this year. We are only able to manage 4 nights away at most, ideally want to stay in the village.

Trying to look for accommodation and prices are eye watering. (haven’t been too sure where to look and Booking dot com is a minefield) While, we have no issues in paying and understanding Cap is and can be expensive, but worth it we hear , just seeing if anyone can offer some advice where to look for best accommodation offerings.

We also understand going for 4 nights is not ideal for apartment renters who might think they are potentially losing out on a week rental booking. We would be open to sharing with someone who want to book for a week or more and split the nights? If this is what some do?

Just not sure and any and all suggestions welcome tbh.

Jo and John.

Try Peng, Resid. A.D James ,AGN, all are agencies for apartments (shoe boxes) in Cap, Port Nature is ours and many others fave location there if you can get anything in August for such a short time of course, Hotels are crazy money so self catering does for most visitors

Try Oltra, the only campsite situated in the village.

They have some cabins which are quite nice and very clean. And cheaper than an apartment...!

As you say, a 4 night stay will be a problem in August so you might have to book for a week.

Good luck

Port Nature is definitely a favourite of ours and many others. However you may find owners more flexible in other areas (Heliopolis, port soleil). 4 nights will definitely be a struggle peak season. Obviously we don’t know what dates your going but I just put in a random 4 night search in airb and b for August and there are properties available for 4 nights.

Good luck with your search

Thanks all for your advice here and in the pm’s we received.

Haven’t been able to find anything that wasn’t astronomical in price and realise 4 days is not ideal when booking height of the season. Decided to take some advice received and book earlier in the season and go for a week, looking at next year now end of June, first week in July and book early. Other advice sounds like it is a must visit. Really can’t wait.

End of June is our favourite time to visit. Everything is open and the place is lively without being too hectic! We always go in the last week going into July. You willl usually pay more for the July days.

We stay in an Airbnb in port soleil. It’s on the edge of town so it is quiet but still only 5 mins to hussle and bustle.

250 a night is about right for port nature.

Single straight male hedonist here. On a whim I've just this minute (5.15am on a Saturday night) paid for a week's accommodation at a "Port Nature" apartment in Cap d'Agde, and for my return flight to Montpellier. July 20th to July 27th.

The prices are indeed eye-watering, but on the other hand you're paying for the privilege of being right in the thick of things. This will be my 4th visit to Cap, the last time being August 2022.

I stayed in hotels outside the village for the first two visits. Although staying inside the village is expensive, it's worth the outlay to get the good lay lol.

If anyone here is gonna be out there at the same time, feel free to say hi.

May I ask how much you are paying for the week's accommodation please.

Hey we are thinking of visiting cap in July. Could you guys recommend accommodation that is inside the naturist village. This would be our first visit and just looking for as much info and advice before we book.

Thanks in advance.

I usually end up paying around £110 per night for a small apartment, depends what you want and how many people you're sharing with. I doubt you'd find much for less in high season.
