I was there last June. I’d say the site was about half full, mainly older people, 50 plus

Yes all the restaurants/shops were open.

We didn’t go to the swimming pool but I did cycle past twice just for a nose. Once it was open and once there was no one about. Not sure if it was closed or whether it was just quiet that day.

We were there for 10 days. One day was a bit shitty weather wise but the other 9 were lovely. Maybe 25-30 degrees.

The beach is glorious, quiet busy at the point you enter it but you only have to walk a couple of hundred metres either way and it’s almost deserted and goes on for miles

Thank you for the info.

25-30 will do me just fine fingers crossed it is the same this year. Having never visited the west coast of france the beaches look awesome and one of the things drawing me to visit.

Diving abroard is not as challenging as you think once you have your head into your driving on the wrong side.

The motorways in europe are much less congested than the uk far easier to get around.

Try it sometime you will not regret it

Haven't been since 2005. We stayed at Heliopolis. Thinking of going back this summer but later in summer (end of August/beginning September for quick trip down by car).

Any tips on accommodation?

Whoops sorry! I was there in 04. It never struck me as a swinger haven... more family friendly than anything...

I guess it's changed
