Glad you’ve started the thread early. Nothing booked yet, but will get round to it in next couple of weeks

I'll be in Plan Peisey (Les Arcs) for a lot of the winter, if anyone fancies some naughty fun. I can even hold a conversation

We have a chalet near Val d’Isere and are often there during the season: close to Les Arcs & Tignes also.

France / Birmingham

Weather in Alpes d'Huez the last couple of days has seen high temperatures (over 10° and sunny at about 2000m) so a lot of snow has gone lower down and the lower slopes around 1800 - 2200m have some wet snow (slushy).

Higher up (3000m) the snow is still excellent and there is plenty of skiing at the 2200 to 3000m (and above) here.

Forecast is cloudy for tomorrow with some light snow showers higher up.

Amazing to think that only on Sunday there was quite a snowfall but the high temperatures melt it quickly.

Last year, in April, there was a good late dump of snow so perhaps we will see the same this year.

Still excellent skiing in the Alpes but best keep to the higher resorts.
