Europe

Hey, recently moved France and want to enjoy the beaches available in the south.

Yesterday went to my first nudist beach but found most people were dressed… it was chilly and it’s still early but as a total newbie I would like to ask people any advice, tips or no no’s when trying to make friends as single guy. As for every guy on here the invite to join a couple would be a nicely received.

Currently in the SE of France but thinking I must make a move to Cap D to really meet the naturiste beach pros haha

Thanks

You seem to be mistaking naturist beaches for swinging beaches - two entirely different animals

You are certainly right, never thought to check for swinging beaches. I just thought with naked people one lead to the other. I will need to do more research. Thanks.

I live in Languedoc and visit the naturist beaches here (not swinging beaches) regularly. It is a bit chilly for now and they are deserted but generally when people are naked I find they keep themselves to themselves. I’d love to find friends to share beach life with too.

Torreilles Plage later in the evening, but bit too cool just now, having said that we managed a 28degrees day in February which was unheard of.

Nothing happens on main beaches, what you are seeking is in dunes behind

The naturist beach at leucate is our favourite

I will make a note of it, if you think of anything on the SW of France let me know. I’m hoping to try an island soon called île du Levant

Côte d'Azur & Great Yarmouth

"Nothing happens on main beaches, what you are seeking is in dunes behind"

Sums it up really, just along the coast to us is the Plage du Layet, fantastic fish restaurant with an adjacent "plage où le naturisme est toléré".

Naturists of all ages including kids; but those who go to the end of the beach and climb over the rocks are going there for just one thing. Or two or three, of course...

Thanks for the heads up, I will check it out.

Cap d’Agde, France

You’re highly unlikely to be invited by a couple to join them on the Cap beach, most couples are French and there is too much local competition.

You might be very lucky and get a blowjob at the rear of the beach on in the shallows but you’d have to be comfortable with thirty to fifty other naked guys in extreme proximity to you all competing for the same thing.

You’ll have a lot more luck in the dunes behind the Cap beach but mainly if you’re bi or gay!

If, on the other hand, you’re just voyeuristic, you’ll enjoy yourself immensely

Costa Blanca Spain...

There seems to be a misconception on Fab (not only on this thread) that naturist beaches are by default swinger beaches.

They are not, far far from it.

Some naturists (like ourselves) are also swingers. However many (probably the majority) are not.

There is one section of the beach at Cap d'Agde where full on public sex is tolerated on the main beach (that doesn't mean that it is actually legal BTW)

What goes on there is pretty much unique, worldwide.

There are other beaches in France, Spain and many other parts of the world where some discreet play does happen from time to time, but it is kept out of sight in dunes, woods, or behind rocks Etc. Never in full public view.

We regularly visit a naturist beach in our area of Spain. One that has built up quite a reputation for being some kind of "swinger beach". Occasionally (not always) we will wander into the dunes behind to see what is going on, sometimes even for a bit of fun ourselves.

We see lots of single guys (AKA Meerkats) hanging around but in nearly 20 years of going there we could count the other couples we have seen on two hands.

With the one notable exception, Cap d'Agde, this notion that the world is full of similar places is a complete myth.

This. If you can't do it on a textile beach, you can't do it on a nude beach. And just because people have the common interest of "being naked", that doesn't mean they want to have conversations with other people who like the same or about being naked any more than you'd start talking to people in a shop just because you are both in the same shop, or in the park just because you both go to the same park.

It may depend on the time of year - when we were there last June there seemed to be a mix of different nationalities.

And we did ask one single guy to join us

Perpignan and cap

I wouldn't go walking round with a great big hard on on the nudist beaches. There's often families. I just cover up or go for a dunk if I get a twitch down there. Apart from that it's very freeing. I love naked snorkeling.
