Public Liability Insurance

'near that London'

Just booked an apartment in Cap through one of the usual agencies. They have asked us for a copy of our “ Public Liability Insurance “ . Not sure if we have it ? Scrambling around trying to see if we have cover ….In all our years going to Cap we have never been asked for this . Has anybody else had this problem or can give us any advice what to do ?

It is very normal in France and covers you when staying in a rented place .

Hello, i think you mean "assurance de responsabilité civile". It is a mandatory insurance in France, normally, your house insurance cover for that, you may want to check with yours. Otherwhise you will be able to get a temporary one for really not much.

We were just asked for this. They accepted our travel insurance certificate as proof.
