You can't record your location as being in France, you just have to make it clear in your profile.

On Fab, you can "live" in several countries around the world such as Oz, NZ, Canada, Ireland, UK and US but that's it...!

It's something that has been raised with Admin many times in the past but I don't think it can be changed. We think that France and Spain should be added to the list.

Make it clear on your profile where you are staying and good luck with your search.

Ah OK

Because suddenly I am for a few days in Charente maritime. Are there French libertine sites that work well?

Cap d’Agde, France

Plenty of swing sites but if you’re here for just a few days you might be better checking out the ‘who’s where in France’ thread in this forum to see who’s in the Charente.

Fabbers are pretty spread out in this big country but you might strike lucky.

Think that Fab are missing a trick here - they should look at being able to change country as people move around -

I'd always assumed it was a legal thing - start supporting people living in France, and there's the chance that you might have to take account of French law.

Which might be fine, but would cost serious money to find out.

There are 100's of thousands of forums on the net, almost all of them have worldwide input.

Not sure why it would be a problem here.

Well, because of the topics covered, and it being a commercial site.

The point is that there's a cost to finding out whether operating in France is legal. I'd imagine that it is, but is it worth paying the lawyers to find out?

Legally there's nothing stopping Fab running a French Forum page. French law has no interest. I think you'll find it is probably an admin issue and cost to Fab in doing alterations.
