Caen to Cap road trip

We will be driving from Caen to Cap d'Agde via the west coast on May 4th We intend to drive round about 6 hours , then take a break for the night, so probably around Bordeaux area'ish.

It would make the trip a little more interesting if any fabbers in this area would like to meet for a glass of wine or two... Please let us know so we can start planning the route.

We regularly make this journey (occasionally Cherbourg instead of Caen)

We always take the A75 route stopping over in Bourges although in the summer a fun half-way-house would be Camping libertin la Roseraie.

Incidentally, despite the A75 being a free motorway the total tolls last September for Caen-Cap came to 71 euros plus 130 for petrol.
