Hi - French rural life can be very hard for meeting Fab type friends. However listing on your profile that you don’t accommodate or travel will definitely make it even harder. Good luck.

Finistere is a large area, anything more specific? However, rural France is exactly that... rural and fairly remote. Meeting people is somewhat difficult but not impossible.

I live in a rural area too but in the centre of a very small town. So I can do my shopping without a car. If you are really rural I don’t know how you survive without a car. Doing anything in rural life often needs some transport and buses and trains can be a distance away.

No, that’s another trip I have planned. The Francette way - Caen to La Rochelle.

In fact, if time allows I may combine the two.
