A couple I met said the clubs are open over Xmas and fun. Anybody ever done Xmas break ?

New Years Eve is the big thing in the Cap, most clubs will be open to let the New Year in.

Many restaurants do a special meal with Champagne, oysters, entertainment, that sort of thing with club entry included but this can be 200-300 euros per couple, very popular so you need to book.

Weather similar to Uk but less damp and a lot more sunny, there’s always a big New Years Eve naked swim each year so the temperature is tolerable.

We’re thinking of going over the new year…we love our food, finishing with a club…which restaurant would recommend?

Best restaurant we’ve been to in the village is the ‘Waiki,’ whether or not they do New Year we don’t know.

Otherwise ‘Le Bistro’ always does a good New Year feast.
