Can anyone please recommend the best clubs to go to in the village for couples?

Do you know what - this is a really interesting question. Not being vague but really depends on what you are looking for. We have been going to Cap for many many years…. Not that old though and Glamour was always in the diary for Saturday night. Then a sauna night then whatever. Now we are finding the bars a lot more fun. L’Arche 2, new (old ) Jonny Wokkers, Melrose etc - can’t explain it really except for try it all out and find out what works for you!

Got to agree!

A good night out in the Cap are the dance bars.

The clubs don’t make much effort to be appealing and we avoid them but if you’re staying in the village then you don’t have that luxury.

We do go to clubs, but not in the Cap village.

Interesting thread. We were considering going to Le Glamour tonight (mon) as day visitors, but a) are put off by the dress code (who wants to wear long trousers on a really hot night) and b) it is a monday night so might be quiet.

So the dance bars.... Do these "heat up" as the night goes on? They felt quite vanilla to us on sat night when we were last there in the day (though we did leave by around 11pm)

In our experience bars such as Pilou, Palm Re and Rebiffe start empty the dance bars get going from 11 ish. Just as we are wobbling off being old and decrepit.

Live just outside the Cap and if we go in for a bop then we wouldn’t get into the village before 11, sometimes nearer midnight.

Favourites are Bodega and l’Arche2 although Le look is good for a change.

La Casa used to be brilliant pre Covid, Melrose though is only good for voyeurisme unless your going to get up on one of the poles.

We go to dance and enjoy the ambiance, there shouldn’t be any (obvious) sex going on otherwise these bars would be closed down.

Have made some good connections in these places for future meets.
