Has anyone stayed on any of the boats there? Just wondered if there's any action there or do you think this would be frowned upon? I've been to the resort about 8 times but always stayed in apartments. Just fancied a change. Thanks guys and gals

Take a look at ladies shoes their heels clip, clopping around the bars and look at a teak deck, not a perfect match.

Never seen any parties or meets on a boat or maybe just never had a invite.

Near Bergerac

Plenty of GRP there, but not much teak...!

All the boats are privately owned and if the owner wants to invite people back for a nightcap, then it's no different to being in an apartment.

Although you might just witness a bit of 'Rock 'n Roll' if you were passing by...!

We know of several parties in the marina over the years, but certainly not as many as in villas and apartments.

Most boats are empty at night and some don't seem to get used from one month to the next..

Côte d'Azur & Great Yarmouth

"...wondered if there's any action there"

We've a small boat ourselves (on the Canal du Midi but not far from the Cap) and friends with larger ones moored at our local marinas in Le Lavandou and Cavalaire on the coast. Drinks and partying on board yes, but VERY little "action".

That all takes place in their villas but, being their "poor English acquaintances", we don't get invited often enough!
