Hi we are going to be traveling around the Bordeaux area beginning of July and looking for recommendations on sites to stop at and places to visit x

I've heard so much about the coastline n beaches. Are they worth a visit?

There are some lovely beaches and some stony. But as it’s the Atlantic coast the sea can be very rough and cold. The lagoons are better if you want to swim.

I will be cycling up the coastal paths from from Biarritz to Roscoff in the first 2 weeks of July so I'll try to make sure I keep my eyes on the cycle path and not fall off!
