Hi - so we’re heading to Cap D’Adge end of July / Early August and can’t wait! We’re staying in a hotel just outside the site and so just looking for advice in terms of accessing the site with a weekly pass and if it gets you into the area during the day and for the nights as well…. Any advice welcome!

Thanks D&S x

Yes stay inside would have been the advice.

Its a small village aoart from the campsite. In our first visit (2014) we got to know just about all we needed to know. Everything is easy to get to and people threre will show you the places to go. Just follow the crowd.

Costa Blanca Spain...

Our initial advice would have been the same as above. Stay inside the village.

However as you have now booked it's too late for that.

For the village pass you will have to go to the office at the village entrance.

With a weekly pass you can come and go as you please but I think there are some restrictions on the day passes though.

I'm not sure of the prices this year and we always got the heavily discounted pass when staying inside. It can be quite a price leveller.

Finding your way around won't be difficult, as said above, the village isn't that big so just follow your nose and yes the crowd. You will get to know the place quite quickly.

Hope your hotel isn't too far from the entrance because taxi's, especially late at night, are almost unobtainable.

Closest airport is Beziers. Ryanair fly there from some (not all) UK airports.

Accommodation is either on the campsite (Rene Oltra) or in privately owned apartments rented through letting agents, or you can find some on Airb&b.

AGN Naturisme and Peng France are the more popular ones but there are others. We like Peng. Expect to pay around 1000€ per week in high season a bit less in mid season.

There are only 2 hotels and one is very expensive and the other is eye wateringly expensive.

There are a couple of dedicated swinger complexes Jardin's Eden and Babylon and the Natureva Spa.

Pre Covid thigs got booked up early so at this late stage choice would have been limited. However Covid could have changed that.

Thank you everyone - really helpful advice…

We booked somewhere about 300 yards from the entrance (as we’d heard taxis can be non-existent), so hope that’s that covered. Otherwise, we’re keen to hang out on the beaches during the day and clubs at night…. We can’t wait! x

We are staying outside too... But have a car, so taxi issue shouldn't be a problem. Most places inside were booked up when we looked.

Does anyone know what ID is required for passes etc?

Firstly its Cap D'Agde .Agde is the local town. The airport is Beziers/cap d'agde. Either catch the airort bus to Agde town then village naturist bus ( line 4 from Agde stn) right to the door approx €2.50 or taxi @€35 to €50

There is so much on the net about cap that google is jour friend.

You will need your passports for the pass.

There’s been a few posts from single guys saying that they had been asked for ID from a naturist affiliation, but couples are never asked.

Might just be down to whoever deals with your request. Not an uncommon thing in France…!

If you’re arriving at Agde station, it’s not too far by bus or taxi.

Flights are met by the local bus it takes you to Agde station.€1.50 (though our friend was not charged last visit) tgen catch the local bus line 4.it will say Naturiste village on it.there are only 4 local routes so not complicated. Thats about €1.00

We have cought it 20 plus times usually the local bus arrives at agde station about 29 mins after the airport bus drops you off.

Btw catch this bus to do shopping the supermarkets are Much cheaper than in the village.

Hey all - so we have just returned from Cap D'agde and oh my...such an amazing time!

We are looking to go back and wondered if people knew what the deal is with hotels booked in the Naurist village and checking in very late as flight gets in late hours! We understand you need to buy a pass but the office for these passes close in the evening/night right? - and we need one to get in we understand. Any advice on this would be great! Thanks a bunch!

We arrived at 1.15 am and the pass office was open and also had the keys to the apartment we had rented !!

Hi, everyone I’m looking for a little bit of Cap D’adge knowledge. I’m off there with friends in June and my question is, do all the bars and clubs that you know of take card payments or are there some bars/clubs that are cash only ? As a regular visitor to PDI I find it’s a bit of a mix there.

Last year the only place we found that didn't take a card was "Melrose" a very lively bar in the evening and worth a visit so make sure you have some cash.

Top Tip:- Pace yourself.

Looking to try and squeeze in a few days later this year.

Is end aug / 1st week sept too late to go?

Do we need to go with a organised event to get into places?

Which resort? Jardin's Eden or Babylon

We are a couple in early 50s.

Things are still in full swing at that time.

Not sure what you mean about an organised event. Any parties are organised privately, either on sites like Fab or through friendship groups.

Don't worry if you don't know anyone prior to arrival, if you visit some bars and get chatting to people, you'll soon be visiting clubs with them or arranging a get together in someone's apartment.

If your trip really is just for a few days, try contacting people who have posted on the France forum who will be there at the same time.

The key to getting the most out of Cap as a newbie is to start talking to people. Don't be a wallflower in the bar. If you just sit in the corner with your drink, life will just pass you by.

We're sure you won't be like that, so go for it and enjoy...

Cool thank you.

Any recommendations for which hotel.

I was listening to the podcasts they said they had avoided queues with their event wristbands ? Not sure what that meant. ?
