How strict are the French on checking Covid passes? I have the NHS app that shows double jabbed but not a booster.

If your second vaccination was more than nine months ago and you havent had a booster you are considered unvaccinated and need a PCR test before entry

"You don't need anything now x"

According to the government website that's incorrect. A said above, if your 2nd injection was more than 9months ago then you have to follow the unvaccinated instructions

If they are anything like Italy then they are strict x

Both fully vaccinated here, got to French border at Dover, a side glance at our vaccine passport on our phones from two metres away and we were through.

Interesting. I’m assuming the Q code thing isn’t used?

It can be hit and miss. Depends who's on passport control. Just make sure your code is for travelling and you have updated it. Restaurants can be very hot on covid certificates.

Nope! Well not on our occasion, they looked at it from afar and said "yes, okay", that's all.

We are off to Cap D'Agde early June and from what we can see on gov.uk we need vaccine certificates.

Last jab over 270 days old or booster, as yet no booster expiry date and PLF, at least this was so the last time we checked.

Completing PLF even if not required, if it's still available, it takes no time to complete and wouldn't take the chance.

Arrived in Caen port last week. On departure from UK only thing needed was a negative test from a private company as not vaccinated. on arrival in France they only checked passports.

Côte d'Azur & Great Yarmouth

Three of us flew into Marseille yesterday: one on a German passport, one UK passport, me with UK passport and Carte de Séjour. PLF no longer exists, nothing COVID related asked for, masks now only obligatory on public transport (including 'planes, of course).

The UK passport without Carte de Séjour stamped with entry date, 90-day countdown begins.
