Carmarthen

We’re thinking of visiting Cap d’age in our motorhome this year. We’ve not been before. And we’re not naturists…

Can see the Rene Oltra campsite but was wondering what peoples experiences are on that site and any other sites within a reasonable walking distance to the nightlife, cafes, beaches, bars etc. I guess what’s the best site for swinger/lifestylers

Thanks in advance guys x

Chalus, France and various UK

Rene oltra is only a naturist site . So no partying as families with children go their. The clubs and shops are only a 5 minute walk. We are thinking of taking our motorhome down this summer.

Lost my motorhome in the divorce, hope to buy another soon and get down for some sun.

There are plenty of camp sites that share the same beach. I stayed in Marseillain Plage and it was a 15 minute walk to the nudist beach. Obviously if you want the swinging nightlife the resort campsite will be the best place to stay but as a cheaper introduction to the fun on the beach an alternative site will be fine and I'm sure that as a couple you'll have a great time.

Do you remember which campsite? Recommendations always good. Hoping to be there later this year.

Near Bergerac

Oltra are enforcing nudity on the campsite this year.

It's been almost 'clothes optional' for many years, so if you're not naturist you'll fall foul of the staff there.

If you look on Google Earth, you'll see the other campsites at Marseillan but if you want to go into the village at night, it's a long walk back along a very dark beach....
