Exeter

We are off to France in November and it would be great to try and visit a couple of clubs. Is there a good site to check out places? Shame there's not a France section for club reviews on here.

Near Bergerac

France is a big place, if you post details of the areas you'll be visiting, there's lots of folk on here who can advise you on nearby clubs.

Cap d'Agde is 'Swinger Central' of couse, but you'll know that anyway.

Good luck

Thanks Becky. We are crossing Portsmouth - Caen then quickly heading south, hoping to end up near the coast around Perpignan and a bit further east. Sounds as though the Cap is pretty quiet in winter, so was just wondering about other clubs. Atlantis in Rivesaltes looks to be a good one. Certainly searching for libertins seems to work

Cap d’Agde, France

Outside the big cities, most of France like the rest of Europe have Libertin clubs that mainly open at the weekend Saturday in particular.

The Cap is no exception to this, not heard of Atlantis in Rivesaltes but Histoire d'O' in Narbonne is highly recommended.

Many clubs in France do not really get going before midnight.

Having a knowledge of the French language is advisable, French clubs are not multilingual like those in the Benelux.

Thanks for the info Lucianpound. My French is not too bad, although my wife doesnt speak much. Not sure how much of the "technical jargon" required in a club I will know!

The clubs in France only open limited hours during the week, usually in the afternoons but some open on a Thursday evening a couple of times a month.

Bristol Steve had the best idea, just type Club libertin and the name of a town in a search engine. Once on the site click on the link that says Horaires or soirées. Don't expect to find many people there during the week though, most of us have to go to work so we go out at the weekend. Your might have more luck going to a sauna than a club during the week, but whatever you do, have a great time in France.
