First thread just got closed as had reached its limit. We now have our Antigen results. Regrettably we can’t get them as the portal is so busy on Day 1, it won’t open!

Nightmare… we’ve had same trying to book our day 2 test on return to U.K., most sites either crash or freeze!

Thankyou for your thread, you've done a great job keeping us informed. We're not surprised you reached the limit, there's been some really good information from you and the other contributors which has kept us motivated through a difficult year (due to the covid and the poxy weather).

Our favourite club at Cap is finished, no more Le Juls. We’d already seen it on this thread but wondered if it was just a financial takeover however the queue of men in leather straps waiting outside confirmed it’s changed completely.

So what to do instead? What used to be the Bodega and is now O lounge is good to start the evening but isn’t a nightclub. We went to Tantra last night; downstairs there were dozens of men and three couples with nobody dancing; the backroom was just a gangbang. Upstairs is just couples all sat around on the beds so even if you did meet someone there was nowhere to lay down. Hmm, not really our thing but at least it was reasonable, 40€ with 4 drinks. Tomorrow we’ll go to Glamour – the last time I went was 15 years ago and it was full of the young, the beautiful and the rich but perhaps its changed?

What we really want is a club where you can dance, where the people are late 30s to 60s, who like to meet others and who know how to enjoy themselves in the backrooms – like Le Juls.

We went to the Glamour last night, its changed a bit since I was last there. Plenty of people dancing and a sound system that lets you feel the music as much as you hear it. Downstairs you're spoilt for choice with plenty of little rooms. We found a private little corner for ourselves in the couples section but also did a tour of the mixed section which is vast as well. Condoms are freely available at the bottom of the stairs.

One thing to be aware of is that all the tables have 'Table réservée' written on them. A couple were happily sitting at one of the tables when a barman and another couple turned up. The new couple had ordered a bottle (at 160€) and thus have the right to sit at the table so the barman turfed off the other couple. The lady of the new couple was really quite embarassed to take someone else's place and asked them to stay but they left anyway.

My original view was that the Glamour was for the young, beautiful and rich so I'll update my view a bit: You have to be fairly rich to get in as its 70€ with 4 drinks (Juls was 35€ with 6 drinks) but we didn't see the overly rich we'd seen before. The age group is certainly younger than Juls used to be but there's someone for everyone here, plently of people of our age group (50s). And finally the beautiful ? Well yes, there were some very nice looking people there but we didn't feel out of place.

Tonight is our last night in Cap but we'll certainly go back to Glamour next year - we'll book two weeks here though as a week isn't really enough.

What is the current situation regarding wearing of masks in Agde. We understand in shops etc., it is a requirement, but recall reading on Midi Libre website some time ago it was now required outdoors in certain crowded areas of Cap D'Agde. Is this still the case?

If you attend an outdoor market, or are queuing, then yes. The big screen on the roundabout, run by the local tourist office, who are notoriously I nept, says everywhere in Agde, but this is ignored by everyone.

Le Croq, the café and shop in the centre of the campsite, is normally closed by now. However, this year, it is staying open up to and including Sunday 10th October.
