Hey i am planning to stay in rene oltra camping in a tent from august 10th to 20th. i dont have a caravan i will rent a car from airport and will set my tent in a pitch next to my car. I did camping before but not in cap d agde. Are there anyone here can give me some tips who stayed in rene oltra camping? Does sanitary facilities are ok? And water and electricity working allright? Thanks in advance.

Worry not, it's a massive & very well equipped campsite with multiple toilet / wash blocks dotted about.

I'm fairly sure it has electric & water on every pitch.

Take lots of mossy repellent/ killer, citronella etc.

I've stayed there a few times, not since 2019 though. Site is aok, plenty of showers etc. and nice shaded pitches, though it's not got much else compared to most French campsites. For camping, you do need some really decent tent pegs as the ground is really hard. Not many mozzies but sometimes there are some little silver flies, look like a cloud of cigarette ash, proper nasty little sods. Most pitches have electric /water I think, can't remember much WiFi though

We thinking doing something like that so watching whats. Cost of pitch? PLEASE we got friends driving down day before could take are tent lol. But waiting on amber or green !
