Hoping for two weeks cycling around France. We are both double jabbed. What are the chances?

If you are double jabbed no problem. We have just arrived in the Cap and it was so simple. All we had to do was a lateral flow test before we traveled and we had to sign an attestation to say we would quarantine if we had only had one jab. They say they won’t check so they rely on you to be honest. The funny thing is that they only asked for our passports and no proof of the above requests!

Just ensure you print out your Covid Vac certificate from NHS website before you come as Macron announced yesterday that you will need to show it if you want to use a restaurant etc. Don’t know yet if it will be recognised on the app in France - the NHS cert renews the validity each month so make sure it’s just before you leave.

Just to add - when I came over by Ferry a few weeks ago all my paperwork was checked at both ends, including my test certificate.

We came through the tunnel and no delays. They even put us on a early shuttle.

We came over on Mon through Dover and all of our Documentation was checked at boarding.Guess its luck of the draw

Bradford

I flew Leeds Bradford to Limoges a couple of weeks ago and all paperwork checked both ends. French customs ok with NHS app to prove both vaccinations taken.
