Hi. We Live in the Haute Vienne. We are looking later in the month (if possible) to grab a short break away for a couple of days. Would be also good if it involved some fun along the way but not essential.

Any good options ? Probably no more than a 5 hour drive from Limoges. Probably South but not set in stone.

San Sebastián in northern Spain is a great place to visit and the food is amazing.

Also near the Spanish border Saint Jean de Luz, or Carcassonne (best out of season)

I agree with carcassone for sure and up in the andorran mountains, hiking around soldat.. beautiful area
