With the impending end of quarantine we are thinking of just driving through France in early July. Will hotels be open and accepting of British tourists??

Yes all hotels, b&b, gites etc are all open. Just have to follow social distance rules and wear face masks in communal areas. Bars & restaurants also open with same mask rules when you are walking about.

Very helpful thanks. We are thinking of travellingon the 4th, I suspect the quarantine will either have been removed or about to be. In any event everything we have read says it is voluntary, is this the case or is it enforced?

Tricky as most Cap D'agde owners use OTA ( on-line travel agency - Expedia/Booking.com) airbnb may unfortunately be best approach

Tonbridge

Currently staying in an Chambre d'hôte in Lubéron. Everything is open and ready to welcome tourists. The hotel I stayed in two nights ago had perspex screens between the tables in the restaurant. The restaurant last night was operating like normal, not a mask in sight.

Côte d'Azur & Great Yarmouth

"bed and breakfast about 40 mins from Cap"

We’re looking for a Port de Plaisance on the Midi with space for our boat, checking out Argens, Homps, Cassafieres, Trebes etc. next weekend or thereabouts. Is your gaff conveniently placed? Pm if you’d prefer

Not at all..

Cap is mentioned of course, as it's the main destination for people reading this thread.

But if you take time to read through, you'll find Caen, Luberon, Narbonne and Trebes also mentioned.

Or did you just choose to read about Cap...?
