French PM set to make latest announcement on lifting some restrictions at 5pm, French Time, today. Rumour from France24 is that restaurants, bars and cafes in so-called "green" zones with limited Covid-19 cases could open on June 2, those in "red" zones including Paris and a large swathe of the northeast may have to wait until July. The number of Covid-19 daily deaths has continued to decline across France, with 66 new fatalities reported Wednesday night, bringing the total to just under 28,600 since the outbreak began. This could allow the government to lift restrictions on travelling, with residents currently required to stay within 100 kilometres of their homes, tourism minister Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne said this week.

100km limit lifted. Bars and Restaurants can open. Looks like campsites can open. All from 2 June in Green areas. No contact sports until at 22 June though. Hope is there. More to come.

Tourist accommodation will be able to open in all green departments from June 2, "says Edouard Philippe. The reopening is postponed to June 22 in the orange zone, that is during the third phase of deconfinement.
