Does this site use mods or is it run solely by the admins and if so how would I go about applying?

I finish uni in June and if the site takes in mods, even as unpaid helpers, it'd be a great way to keep myself entertained. I've been out of the web development game for a couple of years so would love to get back into the swing of it
