What are opinions on just having a CD/TV forum on the list?

I think it would be a good thing and could help deal with a number of issues people may have.

Great idea

Suggested recently that a chat room set up to cater for us as well.

Some liked and others not so happy. Live and let live!!!!!!

i wouldn't be happy with it because the whole idea of being on this site is I want to integrate with the wider swinging community, not segregate myself from it, there are plenty of ts/tv/cd/xd sites that you can go to if you wanted to discuss them there.

All for integration, the same way as in chat I pop into the regional rooms.

It's horses for courses really but it's one of those areas where if you like it use it if you don't then stick to what you do like.

I don't like the idea because we t-girls are part of the whole range of swingers and our tastes are varied as are the tastes of everyone else. We should all just mix together and appreciate that we've got a large menu on the site here. We only need to try what appeals to us.

we meet trans/tv people because they are swingers...why the need for segregation, as i have said about the idea of a tv chat room, ghettoes never end well.

This is my problem with it: If you start a forum group based on preference, then the doors are opened to have forum groups for ALL preferences, and failing to acknowledge any could be seen as discrimination (trust me, it threw up a stink just cause there was a London chat room and people in the General chat room felt discriminated against cause there was no Northern Chat room.. followed by South West, then South East. And that's just where people are located!)

There is also that a similar thread on having a bi/Gay/Lesbian/CD/TV chat room (again, IMHO I disagree on the above preference principle: I wouldnt want a chatroom for black guys... imagine going in and all there are are dudes! Not my idea of fun)

Besides, there's FabGuys (I'm going to guess there's a fair number of Bi and Gay guys there, I'll take a wild assumption there "might" just be a number of CD/TV's on there also, or is that a wildly naive notion? Correct me if I'm wrong).

Plus, this whole idea of segregation - if a non Bi/Gay/CD/TV said "I think the Bi/Gay/CD/TV community should get their own chatroom/forum/or even website where they can al be together", would that not then come across as discriminatory (nearly said racist, lol!) and offensive??
