Why is the parties and meet requests page still open?

So the meets calendar is closed due to Coronvirus - a step I agree with - but the Meet Requests page still seems to be open - which kind of defeats the point of closing the meets calendar page.

Probably because lots of the members who support this site financially would boycott this place at the mere thought of being fractionally sensible
