Message highlight

Hi all, not sure if its just my phone but messages use to be highlighted until they had been read, sent or recieved, but no longer the case at least on my phone??

My unread messages show as yellow and my read messages have no colour. Is that what you mean?

Yes but now mine show no highlight as they did before once i sent a message, until it had been read.
