If you block someone why can they still see and comment on your forum posts

Brighton - even Hove!

"If you block someone why can they still see and comment on your forum posts"
I’ve asked this before and the reason is that what they say might wreck the flow of the thread if their replies were removed.

Because there needs to be a way you can snipe at those who blocked you without having to set up a new profile.

Of course, not something I'd recommend

Neither would I, it could lead to a time out

It's not always detectable by admin. Nastiness often ensues between the lines.

I'm on another forum where the block feature includes not seeing what that person posts. Ever. Yay!

The next best thing would be to just hop skip and jump over the blocked person post. Its what I do.

Agreed that's the next best. Just annoying that have to see their petty jealous comments at all

It could very easily be done as with Kik. There the comments are not removed, so the flow continues for everyone, but for you it's simply obscured, also helps with knowing if they are online at the time and you just wait till they aren't.
