Msgs disappearing

Hi all I’m having msgs disappear , been chatting to people for a while then msgs vanish without a trace then I can’t even find them on a search . Or are they blocking me ?

If blocked you would still see the messages, just wouldn't be able to reply.

Totally gone messages means the sender has left the site

If a user leaves the site, all their messages are automatically removed.

This would explain why you can't find them anywhere
