Unsend messages

This has probably come up before, but I think it will be a good idea if the site allowed us to recall unread messages. Like a scenario where a message is left unread for a week and the context under which the message was sent no longer applies

Maybe it was read and marked back as unread?

Just delete it from your Sent box, does that remove it from the recipients inbox or does it get get marked as deleted?

That only deletes it from your sent items the recipient will still be able to read it but you’ll have no idea

There must be something as we've had some messages disappear before we've had chance to read them. Seen in the inbox, and we don't always read immediately for various reasons, and a while later poof....gone

Of course it could be a bug

If the user who sent them leaves the site they are removed.
