Attaching a photo

Hi I'm a paid member. When I click on add a photo on a message all that comes up is an option to have the photo delete once message been read.

I don't get any option on how to attach a photo. Am I missing something. Same in all browsers

Theres add a direct photo which allows photos from device and attach a photo which allows from already uploaded pics, which 1 are you choosing as you have no visible or friend only pics?
