It would be a great idea to give people an option to decide for themselves weather they choose to have a single or couples profile.

My profile was once again changed to couples without my knowledge or consent.

Yes, I'm in a relationship with a fellow fabber, yes, we already have a couples profile together.

Our desicion to keep our single profiles for our individual activities was a joint one.

Why does my profile keep getting changed to couples?

And no, I do not buy an excuse of "you're part of a couple, you should state that you're meeting alone, only then it's okay to have a single profile" as going by that logic - everyone who has no intention of meeting people at all should get deleted all together.

I would say it reads as though you are meeting with a partner - the phrase about you are you partner in crime are happy to help with their Fab journey. It’s easy to interpret that as you meeting as a couple and I would guess that’s where the confusion has arisen from.

I’m sure if you message admin they can sort it out for you

It does read like a couples profile. The whole point of having a single female profile is so that when other people search for a single fem, they don’t expect to find a profile which is evidently not a single profile. Whilst only one person may have access to the profile if you don’t meet on your own, it’s not a single females profile. Keep all the stuff about we’ll help you out to your couples profile, it won’t be confusing then. Of course it’s ok to have a separate profile if you only want to use it yourself or for chatting, but I can see why it’s been changed.

Photo verify with fab admin and they will change it to single profile.

Yes, because of the event that we are both organizing together and he deserves the credit for his work.

Once the event is over - profile will be changed again.

Do I have to explain myself to admin every time I change my profile?

Would "fill in later" be a better solution not to get any settings changed without my consent?

I think admin changed the rules a wee while back.

I'm sure its posted somewhere.

I know a of two women that left and had to re verify when they came back.

No biggie just sent a snap to admin and job done.

I'm confused OP.

Why not just use your couples profile for events if you are only meeting with him? It's coming across as a 'bait' profile if this is the case and quite rightly should be a couples profile. I state clearly on mine that I don't meet from this one and reference the name of my couples one in the text. Maybe that could be the way forward for you?

To the OP, if everyone could change their own profile there would be lots of changed to get round filters / single people pretending to be a couple.

Your profile does read as a couple so why it was probably changed. It isn't fair to have the wrong profile as it will come up in the wrong searches, but if you ask Admin to review for you from the contact button
