Looked at me...

We have set our profile so other people shouldn't be able to see when we have taken a look at their profiles.

However we have noticed that we are regularly winked at, or messaged by people who we have looked at but not contacted.

Some of these people aren't even local to us so we are wondering if there is a problem?

Is this happening to anyone else?

We raised this very question 1 week ago in the "site help" forum.

We are convinced that the "dont show others I'm looking" setting does not work all the time.

That can't be it...sometimes we look at people hundreds of miles away because they have posted a public photo....sure enough a few minutes later a wink comes our way.

Surely too much of a coincidence...

But we have noticed the same unexplainable winks or messages from people too often for it to be other than them seeing us looking at their profile.

Wonder if its just an occassional glitch.

Very strange. We haven't actually attended any clubs or socials (yet). We have talked about it and we really do like the idea but have never quite got round to it. Maybe an addition to our bucket list lol!

I asked the question a while back to Admin about the "Looked at me" feature but got no reply. I find that 80% of the people who look at me are men. Nothing on my profile suggests that I am gay or bi and even when I changed my headline to say I was straight it hasn't change. My opinion, It's just don't work
