I think being able to comment on someone's status would negate the whole point of fillters.

I wouldn't like loads of smart arse comments being left against my statuses, which are usually a load of nonsense anyway. I suppose you could turn comments off, like you can do with fabs.

I'd turn comments off if this were enabled, or stop using statuses. I think it'd be a bunch of creepy comments no one wants to see.
