Unlink message filter from who viewed me

The 'who viewed me' display shows only the people who can message you that viewed and not the true stats of visits.

For example is I block everyone from messaging me apart from couples I might see 45 views. If I then allow men to message me I then see 900 views.

The 'who viewed me' window should optionally be able to show everyone that viewed you regardless of whether you blocked that group.

The 'who viewed me' window shows everyone who has viewed me such as couples and I'm not looking for couples so maybe you could try resetting your settings, other than that I don't know why this is happening on your profile? Maybe someone else can shed some light on it

Apparently blocking men from messaging does remove them from who viewed me (there is a similar threat not that long ago). But only men, no other message filter does anything to who viewed me

Oh that's why then? Really didn't know that, seems a bit strange tho that it's only filtered for men

Why would you need to see who's viewed you who is outside your preferences? I don't get it. Must be an ego thing

Does seem strange you can’t see everyone but maybe it is better just to see those that viewed you that fit into your filters for meeting.

Because I am getting too many mails and sometimes emails from friends are being lost because I miss them.

So I've added the people that seemed OK to my friends list and I planned to block all men from emailing me (but my friends still can).

I still want to see when my friends last looked at my profile though.

That is why. Having an option would be useful.

No, you are wrong. 'who has looked at me' does not show you who actually looked. It shows you a filtered list of people who looked guided by your email preferences.

Anyone can always look at you all the time unless you blocked them.

If I can see 900 people viewed me and I block men from emailing it changes to say 63. If I allow men then it changes back to 900.

As people on your friends list can still message you wouldn't they escape the filter anyway?

Easy to test, take the filter off, add one of the guys to friends and put it back on. Then if you can see him on who looked at me, voila.

No, they don't show up. If you have got a guy as a friend and you block guys from messaging you then he doesn't show up in the who looked at me window even though he is a friend.
