Who's nearby cached and not updating

Ever since the cache glitch, I think, my who's nearby doesn't update for a good 10 min. Anyone else having the same issue? I use it, amongst other things, to confirm that users that say are on their way to me actually are, so the delay defeats that purpose. Thanks for any replies.
