" I don't think he actually said one way or the other, so in all fairness I'll take that back. However, 3 and more vomit emojis on a row contributed nothing positive to the post. And I've seen it being used on other threads when people don't like something. Now I have no issue with people having preferences or opinions. But use of vomit emoji is just plain lazy and is open to misinterpretation. | |||

" I don't think anyone actually said they were being kink shamed, I think the said it was kink shaming but nobody actually felt shamed by it. Really there's only one way to take that emoji, and that's that something made you feel sick/ill. As much as someone is allowed to like what they like, others are allowed to dislike it, stating that an act males you feel ill isn't shaming the person that likes the act, it's simply stating an opinion. | |||

"What surprises me most about this thread is that no one's used the vomit emoji yet. There's usually one smart are. Like all emoji, context is everything. Someone says they like melted cheese, I use the vomit emoji. Someone says they like being stapled naked to a barn door and ravaged by inebriated butterflys I might used the surprised emoji. Used in humour, they're fine. Used to shame, not. Context and know your audience. I do think some people need to grow up a bit and get a sense of humour though." I agree with you I don't find it offensive when it's light-hearted fun. For example teasing me about food preferences which actually happened last night on the forum. I think fab is a way for a lot of people to express their kinks etc that they are unable to in their day to day lives. And we should be mindful when they discuss them that we don't jump on the vomit emoji bandwagon | |||
