If anyone has problems with their videos being cut short, can you please post in this thread, along with device/software you used to create (or edit) the video.

We will then contact you privately for more info and/or the original file.

We can then figure out and fix the problem.

I used my Samsung phone, and it was cut from 20 seconds to 8 seconds.

We have posted about 15 video now 9 were cut from 20 secs to 2 cut to 8seconds and this is using my up daily allowance for no benefit ie: paying for nothing as it takes away from my photo allowance

1 does not play more than a split second

And the second played full amount but was declined as no people in it

My videos won't upload , the uploading spinning wheel icon just keeps turning ,I've let it run for 30 mins about 15 times and still won't upload , I'm using a android smartphone . thanks X

the video is 22 seconds long ,I assumed that 2 seconds would trimmed automatically ?

Just tried a 19 seconds video, it's only appearing as 1 sec. Video cut with "in shot" and is 13.6 M.

My phone is a oneplus 6.

How many seconds long is video?

Adminthe video is 22 seconds long ,I assumed that 2 seconds would trimmed automatically ? "
I've now trimmed the vid to 19 seconds and it still won't upload , anyone able to help ?

Tried the lowest quality settings when saving video and still only 3 secs. I'm sure you will get there in the end.

I tried to upload a 14sec video and has cut to 3secs, when it uploaded.

Edited on inshot and on a Samsung galaxy j5 device. Bec x

OK, I've just managed to get one to work by just shooting a short video with no editing and uploading it straight from my photos. This is on android. Hope this helps a little.

We uploaded 3 videos, 1 was cut to 8 seconds and 1 cut to 4 seconds. The 3 rd was fine so I tried the 4 second video again but it still cut.

Using a Samsung S9.

I uploaded two 20sec videos both of which were cut to less than a second. I've since deleted them. Android Phone used AndroVid app to trim the video length

Tried uploading and succeeded with a few. Several we have had problems with so tried re editing, saving as smaller lower quality but still does the same. Huawei mobile using U-cut video editor. Funny thing is the 1 second videos still get fabbed.

Hi I have take some videos with my smart phone it's running Android 8.1 the odd one uploads in full but the majority I'm getting 0 seconds or 1/2 seconds out of a 20 second clip! We're aware and investigating this bug. Seems to affect Android phones. We'll post an update as soon as we have one

Having same problem using Samsung a70 android to upload 18 second clip cut short to practically 0 seconds used nearly all my daily allowance on try to reupload

I've tried adding 2 videos. Both edited on Inshot just to rotate the video. Both have bern before but just not rotated. They're the same size and format and I'm uploading from my Samsung s7 as before.

We had no problems so far with vids getting clipped but did get a rejected one as 'too rude for this site' which was actually pretty tame. I think someone may have objected for a reason other than vulgarity, violence, extreme explicitness, etc but I cannot think what it would be.

I think videos need clearer guidelines as you work this feature out - the guidelines for pics probably don't cover enough issues.

Moving images will introduce new issues with titles, sound and any copyright statements on screen, etc. I'm not going to post anything that doesn't have Luna's 'logo' on it because it's the only way I can get them removed from other sites (as I have had to with pics).

Anyway - I know its slightly off topic but I'm only mentioning it here as you guys are monitoring this thread

For reference, I posted from an iMac with Chrome via the mobile version of the site.

I'll post something else soon from Luna's latest adventure - hopefully it won't get clipped short and will be just the right level of rudeness!!

I think a lot of the android issues are caused by the file size of the clip.

I used a video app to reduce the file size be like other users it works.

Is there a maximum file size?

There was a specific bug unrelated to size, just affecting some android videos.

Yes, max size is currently 100mb.

I've checked the videos we have posted and they are all fine but when we try to watch other people's videos on a Redmi Note 11 telephone, they always stop at exactly 11 seconds in. They're ok on a Samsung tablet. We only have the problems when watching via the phone.

My video's only play for 11 seconds when trying to look on profiles or hot photos
