Profile Filter

Would it be possible to filter profiles like we can filter messaging?

We have the option to block/filter certain age groups, genders etc but there is no way of stopping any specific person(s) from viewing our profile without having to individually block/filter.

Another option that could be useful is more options for filtering messages, ie, more boxes to tick, such as more age preferences to choose from, single, newbies, genders, sexual preferences and so on.

We're pretty comfortable where we're at with message filters and we've no plans to introduce filters on profile views because we imagine it would just result in more people creating multiple accounts to get around this.

Would it be an option in the future to have profile filtering, the same way message filtering is used?

What's the objective? Not see filtered users on your looked@me page or not have them view your profile?

The objective would be to have the same/similar options for profiles that are available for messaging, ie. Filtering who gets to see your profile.

Why? We still don't understand the objective here.

To filter who can view a members profile.

Glasgow - ish ;-)

I agree with this one, we are currently being bad mouthed by someone on for 5 months and photo verified only. We now would like to block unverified & photo verified to stop this person/persons from being able to view our friends list and continuing to spread viscious rumours. Currently they can simply just get a new profile.

I could of course simply hide some verifications, but at the moment this would take eons to do one at a time as the option immediately jumps back to the top of your verification list.

We've not got any plans to add a profile filter.

i think what people are trying to get across here is when you block some one they come back with a new profile and start on you again when we block some one is there anyway you can set it so it blocks there I.P adress aswell this way if they do try and come back with a new profile they would still be blocked simples

There's no way we can do this unfortunately since most IP addresses change and/or are shared and people use many different devices and IP addresses nowadays (and it's not what these people are asking for).
