Hi there, on the topic of reporting a profile, i have been observing what happens when this happens to a fab user.

As far as I can see the only thing that happens when you report someone is that you are automatically blocked from blocking that person in a traditional way?!.

As soon as you press the report button an algorithm kicks in and you receive visual "evidence" via a message that says you are unable to re-contact that person... and they're unable tore-contact you (via that specific profile)

But when you attempt to put the person's name in your blocked list to ensure they'll never get in touch with you via that profile again you are unable to?!.

I dont believe anything at all is done about "the situation" and you (the person who reported it) are just made to believe that something is being done about it.. when it really isn't.

Personally I think it's a very clever way of dealing with issues, if this is really the case?!... as there must be ridiculous amount of reporting each day?!.. but I would REALLY love not to be lied to and made to believe there is a dedicated team policing people's negative and abusive behaviours in Fabland.

It must by now, be obvious to the owners of fab that there are people in here with negative intentions towards others they take a dislike to.

Catfishing happens on a daily basis and it's consider par de course.. and it's very tedious at best and at its worse, downright abusive .

If anyone wants to set me straight I'd love to hear what actually happens to abusive people who are caught red handed trying to mentally and emotionally abuse people in here?!...

The freely gifted abuse does nothing to help the frustrated atmosphere that prevails for those who are under serviced sexually.

No disrespect meant by this post or my observations... I'm just observing and giving you guys feedback that possibly could help make fab a better space for all?!.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
