It would be great if you could block yourself from being seen from the certain type. For example so single guys can’t see our profile at all. Not just not being able to message us.

I have asked this before and got mixed replies. Does it really matter who looks at your profile if they cannot message you? I would have thought, from a purely personal point of view, part of posting picture's is the exhibitionist side of things..

It's pretty much impossible to do. Not without totally restructuring the site. Why do you think only single men are weirdos? Plenty of weird ladies and couples about as well.

Go down this route and we could end up with a site where no one can see anyone, one persons weirdo is another persons normal and vice versa. There is the block button to use if you don’t want individuals to see your profile or you can use the “hide your profile” function and just unhide as and when

If you're a site supporter you can see who looks at you.

As site supporter we can't see if single male or females have looked at our profile only Couples and TVs.

Certain straight males may not appreciate anyone other than females "fabbing" their photos. There are enough female / couples profiles that state that they don't want anything to do with guys who "indulge" with other guys, and having a string of bi/gay males "fabbing" photos could be viewed as giving off the wrong impression, and reducing their chances of meeting someone that they do fancy.

Not really, as “no single guys” means they have no intresting in meeting single guys and is totally fine.

Getting offended or annoyed at a single guy simply looking at them on a PUBLIC website is simply someone who has a god complex.

People forget this site isn’t just about meeting for sex, it is about the swinging scene! Me and the ex wife were on here 3 years, didnt meet single guys but we did speak to them in clubs on occasion and had some as friends on here.

Not always true. Plenty put a block on single guys purely to stop 150+ "fancy a fuck" +/- cock shot messages needing pruning out of their inbox on a daily basis. Look at the friends lists and verifications on many of these "not interested in single men" profiles an you'll see plenty of single guys names there.

Confused! Why not just block any individual who keeps looking at you if it bothers you that much? Also why not block all single guys from messaging you?

It’s an open website, if you register, put pics up of your bits up then anyone else on the site can see your bits. You are in effect advertising yourself at a very low price on this site, you can’t expect to have targeted marketing here.

Its a no brainer if Fab could set up a tick box preventing single guys from viewing couples profiles that did'nt want to be viewed simples!!! and just to make double sure and to avoid confussion when they tick the box this stops them being able to view single guys profiles no more pesky desperado men bothering them

In principle, it's a great idea...

But... It would encourage even more folk to set up fake profiles (men pretending to be couples or single women) just so they can get around the exclusion.

Also, would make veri-checks difficult. For example... I'm not interested in meeting women, so I could exclude women from viewing my profile... But say I've met a few nice chaps, a few newbies, whom I've happily verified and sent on their merry way to continue their fabventures... And they are trying to make new connections with other women... Those women can't now check my profile to see if the veris those guys got came from a genuine, well-verified member, or from a fake profile set up just to provide fake veris, because I've excluded them.

While Fab has its share of weirdos, I think it's probably better to keep blocking individual profiles rather than a whole gender... Mail privacy settings is probably enough. If you're worried about who is perving your pics... Set them all to friends only... You can decide who you want to be friends and share them with

How would anyone, single guy or otherwise, know what you are/aren't looking for without being able to view your profile in the first place?! If you don't like a certain type of person viewing your profile then don't advertise yourselves on a swinging site! And if you are getting multiple views per day from unwanted visitors then that is one of the reasons for A) being a site supporter and B) for the block button.

Because they couldn’t see you, they wouldn’t have to know if you wanted them or not. If you think just because you are on a swinging site everyone is fair game because they are advertising, you may not get the experience you think.

I have been on this site for nearly 10 years, with a few gaps where I have hidden my profile when I have been in a relationship with someone who isn't into swinging. I haven't placed any blocks on who can/can't message me or as you are asking for, view me. Whilst I have no interest in meeting single guys on their own, and class myself as straight, I am sometimes flattered by the fabs my photos get from guys, and I also sometimes get messages from guys.

My experience of Fab is fine, thanks for your concern. This is a swinging site, whereby people can search and view other profiles they are interested in. If you post a profile/advertise yourself on fab, then you have to accept that other users, may or may not view your profile. If you are unhappy with that process, then I suggest you don't have a public profile and keep yourselves hidden. No-one has forced you to post a public advert/profile. If you think that you should somehow be exempt from being viewed by other profiles, that every other user is bound by, then you might not have the experience you think.

You CAN already do this. You can turn off your photos being Fabbed, and you can block single guys from messaging you. Why are you so interested in seeing what single guys are looking at you, when you would like to ban them from viewing you?? It almost sounds like you are very homophobic.

As for the abuse you say you are receiving, if it's from single guys then simply block them from messaging you, problem solved!

Go into your mail settings. Un-tick single males. They will no longer be able to message you. I frequently do this for ALL profile types so that I can happily still receive mail from people I'm already chatting with, but won't receive any new mail from men, women or couples I haven't interacted with before. In fact, if folk took the time to have a good look at the mail filters and privacy settings available on Fab, most of their problems would be solved!

This is the weirdest thread about site support I’ve seen in a long time, someone moaning that single guys can see there profile! Who cares! Really if you are that precious and obsessed with checking to see if some single guy keeps looking at you and worrying about it, you really need to find something else to occupy your time.

PS we are in stealth mode so can look at someone as many times as we want without them knowing

Maybe you have no interest in single men to play with just as we have no interest in playing with straight women, but we don’t care if they can view us, message us or fab our pictures....

You can keep your photos for friends only then pick and choose who sees photos

You can also hide your location too, just be the one who sends messages first and then give location

Really don’t think what we are trying to say really has come out. Yet the cock ends soon jump upon it. You should be able to block messages yet still see everyone who views your page. We had a guy who’s quarter a mile away look at our profile over a hundred times in a day. We blocked him as that’s obviously far too much to not be concerned about. If we had blocked single guys, we wouldn’t have seen that and he could be lerking around a lot more.

You can block messages and still see if they have viewed your profile

but be aware anyone can go into stealth mode and view you without you knowing....

Oh sorry yes I’m clear on it now, when you block single guys from messaging you, you then can’t see which single guys have viewed you.

Still can’t see the problem really, we’ve never had any abuse via messages from single guys, in fact the messages we do get are actually fine, if we don’t want to engage with them we just delete the message and that’s the end of that.

If someone was stalking us and looking at our profile constantly we can always hit the block button, people nearby we don’t want to engage with be it singles or couples we can block too, then they can’t see our profile. End of problem. Stressing about who is viewing you on a massive swinger website seems ridiculous, it’s just a fun sight with people in the main looking to engage with other people, there is little undercurrent of nasty idiots but that’s life, chill x
