Would be nice as the sender of a verification to be able to edit it if only to correct spelling

Maybe once you've left a veri you could have the option to edit it but then the receiver would have to click to accept the modification this would then stop somebody leaving a nice verification that was accepted and then being able to automatically change it to something offensive.

I thought you could choose to show veris or decide not to?

Why would someone amend a verification from good to bad?

People can be very strange and the idea of the recipient having to approve the edit would just prevent that from being a issue, yes you can choose to not show a verification but with damn autocorrect sometimes words get messed up and once you've hit send that is it

Verifications you give can't be edited by you or the recipient.

They can only be shown or not shown.

Some people don’t like their real names being used and sometime people mention them in the veri’s in error which means veri’s can’t be displayed or the person has to rewrite another Veri. So the option to edit would be good in those instances etc. I’ve also reread to check for spelling/grammar and I’ve still missed stuff!

Yes which is why this is a suggestion for an improvement in the feedback section

I can't see the point, other than spelling mistakes.

You leave me a nice veri, I show it. You go back and edit it to something cunty, I hide it and report you.

So other than spelling mistakes, there's not much point.

Just take more care writing them.
