I tried sending a link to a forum post via message and it got blocked. Any idea why?

if you send a link to anyone you haven't messaged before, the link will be blocked

The second time should be fine,I think the block is in place to stop people spamming

It will go through if the other person has mailed you so if they send you a mail you can reply with link.

Unsolicited links get blocked.
