New single profile

So I decided to get a singles profile to arrange meets on for when beards is away and for when I’m on a night out with the girls.

And what a bad experience it must be for a new person looking to get into swinging . I had 200 messages asking to meet , offering money asking weird shit, countless dick picks and even some nasty ones. All in 20 mins and before I had added pics or profile text. 30 mins later I added 2 pics and the messages went up to 500. Now I’m experienced on here so can deal with it but some one who’s a novice would probably have deleted and left.

Surely it would be better to not advertise a new person has joined and give them a couple of days to look around the site . Instead of allowing desperate men to seek you out .

Yeah I had that too. No pictures or Info and a multitude of messages telling me how *beautiful* I am.

The offers of money and weird stuff was awful. If I was a newbie to the site I'd have probably closed it down.

Then when my pictures was put on it for weirder

Yeah. A little warning before you go live (you might well be inundated, filters are good, the first few days can be mad) and a three day incognito option would be good. Or something like that.

I didn't add pictures for ages but it wasn't fun.

People from hundreds of miles away wanting to meet me for my stockings.

I suspect they have M&S in Cornwall? (it wasn't Cornwall)

I'm convinced it's why alot of the new ladies leave. I had 850 in my first day. You have made some good suggestions. Be good to get some feedback from the site about what they think.

My first time here, I didn't last a week! I agree with taking away the 'see who is new' feature.

It is used by predatory men who just sit and hover trying to be the first one in to the fresh meat.

It is a very scary position to find yourself in!

I truly believe that all filters should be automatically applied on a new profile and then people can adjust accordingly when they want to. I've recommended the site to a couple of lady friends before and always warned of the initial onslaught. It is very off putting.

You do get advice when joining about filters etc, it stops the mails until you are ready to accept them

I think the new members listing is far from a helpful function. I know it's there to demonstrate to members there is constant traffic to the site but it just means newbies get jumped on.

Browse that list and so many people disappear within hours

Those options should be on the first screen where it says email options. Should be a choice there. By the time I had got to the main screen I already had weird messages .

As an admin do you why the site advertises new people ? And allows the you to click on a button that says search new women ?

I would agree, lose the 'new member search' option. Its horrific the amount of messages snd the content of some can be more than a little disturbing.

Im new but surely members views should be tsken into account when improvements are sought?

Filters and delete button.

Change filters as you feel more confident.

Or do what i do.. just delete the lot... lol

Hiding in the shadows

I deleted my first profile for exactly that reason.

It was totaly overwhelming

I created a new one which I immediately hid, only came out of hiding once the newbie tag was gone

I went hidden after my first hour on here for about 2 months. I'm as thick skinned as you can get but attempting to find ones feet with that message counter going insane is pretty daunting. I was sat with a friend who was already on here when I made my account so he showed me the hidden option. I do think fab should would do better with ladies if we started out hidden

I got offered £1000 for a 4 man gangbang,

£200 for 20 hrs ( of what he didnt say) asked to be a fucktoy for a 10 man stag do, they were just all fist messages in my first few days. Lucky for me in not new the scene otherwise may well have put me off. Esp the way some men talk to you and just assume as you are on here you will drop your knickers for anyone and everyone, then get offended with a polite thanks but no thanks. However my new favourite hobby on evening alone is to become very self rightous with the worst offenders. I had the bloke who asked about the paid gang bang going for a few days as we "negotiated" overt the £1000 to include travel expenses, new clothes/lingerie and even demanded an onsite hair and make up artist. Wish i could show a copy of the exchange

There are links to the left for every section of new members, I am assuming they all get the same advice / tips page that includes using filters

Ok in the interests of research I just made a single profile...after entering my details it came to the page to get started, at the top of the page was a link for tips , which gave you a range of tips to use the site including using your message filters.

I then went to see if I had any mail and on clicking the link it gave you more help of how to use your filters if you are getting too much mail or mail from people out of your age range etc.

I suppose the rest is up to the individual as to what they do next

I think it’s different if you sign up on a mobile; you don’t see half of the stuff you do on a laptop! I never even knew there were FAQ’s til someone put a link in a forum, because they aren’t shown on mobiles.

It is the same on the mobile, tips are in a link that is highlighted in lime green so can't be missed.

The FAQ's are right at the bottom of page on a mobile.

To update, I had a profile that only had fill in later on it/ no pics and had 6 mails last night and 13 mails up until now.

But, and I am just pointing out facts here, you are a lot older than many fabbers, probably fall outside of a lot of people’s age ranges and we don’t know what age range you put in your filters.

This is the same scenario in most clubs. Went to Our Place For Fun last night. My partner was turned away and I was allowed in. A couple had only to enter a room and they were hounded by men who just went round and round the club. Some just sat staring into the wall ahead. No conversations initiated. I was lucky to find a guy to shield me from this hellish setup

It wasn't a profile for me, it was to check how it works now when you start a profile.

The age on it was 26, there were no filters set at all

( the profile is now deleted )
