I think fab should only allow people who are photo verified/ video verified to ensure the quality of the people... recently I have noticed that many profiles (fakes) are being created constantly... some with the same pictures and some with different pics. However, if the member is photo verified/video then this will ensure that this individual exists x And the pic/ video must be direct from the phone... consider this and have less people joining and leaving... less spam less fakes and less photo collectors!

It would have to have your user name on a piece of paper clearly with your hands and face in the picture

A quick google image search of “girl holding up paper” sends up plenty of images. It’s not hard to photoshop writing over the paper. My point is, nothing is really foolproof.

What about those of us who would rather not have a face photo with a piece of paper stating our profile names stored somewhere on the Web? Does that make us fake?

Doesn't even have to be a girl. Unless a guy has a beard, he could put on a bit of makeup and hold up a piece of paper saying he's female. Would anyone question it? At the risk of offending what might just be a woman with masculine features.

Yep, even a numpty like me could manage enough photoshopping to get photo verified as someone else.

I personally place no value on photo verification and won't do it myself, don't see the need as I'm meet verified.

As others have said use the tools on the site and be smart - don't just rely on veris.

I'm photo verified because I left and came back. Appears you can't join now without it??

But I could just get pics of anyone off the internet now and put them on my profile. But I'm genuine because I'm photo verified

No you cant. Any pics you upload still have to meet pic rules, makes no difference whether you are pic verified or not.

My mate Simon says all of the profiles on here are fake and made up by the bloke that runs the site. In that case then is my profile and photos fake as well? And are they of me or someone else? And if it is someone else in the photos what’s their name? And have I met them before? And if it isn’t me in my profile then where’s the profile with me in it? Can I trade in a fake profile for a real one? And if so then what’s the discount? And do I have to pay extra for a colour one?

Yeah, if a photo looks phenomenal, I almost always search for it, and it's usually a celebrity or porn.
