Over the past day I'm aware of at least three threads which have just vanished from the scotland room and neither of the OP's had any idea why. They did not appear to be controversial or abusive according to OP's (i was one of them) if a thread is closed you can see by the mods final comments why this has been done but if it Its totally deleted you've no idea. I'd suggest the heading is left with admin or a mod putting on a one liner along the lines of "thread deleted because of advertising/displaying other websites/abuse etc"

Good suggestion. I think some threads must get out of hand quite quickly. There have been a few that have been interesting and I've thought to myself-I'll contribute to that one later-only to find it's vanished!

'Thread deleted by Admin' to me would be quite sufficient, with a little reminder of the rules.

Normally, if there are some removed, one of the mods comments and says she has removed one, or two
