I think it is open to so much abuse that could distress people, and actually turn people off putting pics up

Seriously though - seen it on other sites and has it's ups and downs. Great if people are being positive but open to abuse depending on the mechanism used and whether it's your choice to display comments or not.

Why not just send a message saying how much you like them?

Ill send a message or ill fab if I see a really outstanding pic that blows me away

I would'nt really like the option on my profile to comment on them for the same reason others have mentioned
