Appearing Online / Offline

It would be lovely to occasionally be able to use the site and at the same time appear offline.....It would be great to be able to choose if we appear online or offline, so that logging on to read messages, browse the forum etc, doesn't attract contact when we don't always want it.

Hiding our profile isn't always the answer as friends and anyone who has added us to their hotlist can still see when you are online even when your profile is hidden....I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to log on and use the site without every man and his dog knowing I'm online every single time....

Good idea. When I had a single female profile, that used to happen to me a lot-I'd log on to deal with messages and immediately get loads more messages from guys hassling me about whether I've read their original message!! Ms

It's a brilliant idea - as soon as you log in you get bombarded with messages from horny guys who want sex NOW! WITH ANYBODY!WEB CAM WILL DO!

All I logged in for was to read the forums lol!

I searched this because wanted to know if it was possible to hide for the same reasons....

Really getting annoyed with unwanted attention every time we log on just to check messages or read the forums.

Hiding your profile doesn't stop people seeing you are online and messaging you if they still have a message from you to reply to.
