"https://www.fabswingers.com/browse/advanced_geo search 5miles or by postcode. " I can, but when I want to search a little wider afield, say 20 miles, because I live on the coast of the Bristol Channel, I get everyone in South Wales too. Nothing wrong with people from there at all, but it’s a lot more than 20 miles away. By filtering to West Country people would be far more commutable to. Maybe just a personal problem?

"It's a problem with the shape of the UK. I live in Exeter and if I set my radius to 50 miles I get a fair bit of South Wales also... Of course it's nearly triple that distance to drive there. But... A lot of very attractive Fabettes in Wales anyway haha! " Totally agree, certainly not knocking the attractiveness at all. Wonder if some algorithm regarding ‘distance by road’ could be employed to help with searches? It’s displayed on people’s profiles after all!?

And I wonder why I’m at home on my phone on a Friday night!? Ha!

"Correct me if I'm wrong, pretty sure this site measures distance by the crow flies and not by driving distance. " It does, you’re right. But it also says a driving mileage, in brackets I think, too. Could they not use that measurement rather than the direct mileage to assist the search parameters?
