There are lots where there’s been no logon for over a year. Why don’t these get automatically removed?

A Galaxy Far, Far Away & Spain

They might come back.

I disappear for months on end (sometimes a year) & come back to keep in touch with old friends & new friends. I’d be gutted if I lost my contacts, pics, Veris etc.

Glad they didn't.

Took us four years and recruiting a whizz kid IT genius for us to remember our log in.

There was no way we were going to lose all those 'do not pass them by' verifications.

What difference does it make. They will not appear on searches

If they are deleted the verifications on other people's profiles will disappear.

I deleted my profile, thought I'd finished. Six months later I rejoined. Same username. I don't mind starting again, but would it have been easier with 20+ verifications? I don't know, but I suspect I may have been taken more seriously.

Perhaps, at least, a reason not to delete profiles that haven't been accessed for a while.
